Jewellery Care
Usage and Wearing
-
We advise that you have your jewellery with gemstones checked once every 6 months by any professional jeweller.
-
Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, and hot tubs. Avoid contact with chlorine bleach or other cleaners.
-
Remove your jewellery before doing rough or rigorous work or exercise.
-
Keep your jewellery separated in a separate box. Gemstones and other metals can scratch and damage when rubbed or bumped against each other.
Cleaning and Polishing
-
Other than bringing your jewellery to be professionally cleaned, for metal and gemstone jewellery an old toothbrush and mild dish detergent with some gentle brushing is enough to clean away any greases, oils, and debris.
-
Some pieces in white gold may need to be re-plated from time to time to bring back their gorgeous luster.
-
There are specific jewellery cleaners for specific types of jewellery. Do not mix or use cleaners for anything other than their intended uses. Silver cleaner for silver jewellery, pearl cleaner for pearls, and regular jewellery cleaner for everything else.
